DETAILS: A collaboration between Naoki Takizawa and the techno scene. This collection blends the lifestyles of 3 groups, ‘Organix’ a team of graphic designers, DJ TSUYOSHI and Naoki Takizawa. Naoki’s goal was to bring together three people’s values while keeping Issey Miyake at the centre. Although this t-shirt isn’t representative of the incredible collection and look-book as a whole, it does do exactly that. ORGANIX was tasked with making the prints, choosing traditional patterns from different countries around the world, such as arabesque, paisley and Japanese eba-moyo and then completely spinning them to see what would happen if computer generation were to make them now. ‘The resulting patterns are arabesques and paisleys in their own way and are a message to the past and the future’.
